Is this a good car to buy? and they want $4500. I was planning on talking them down to $4000. I have a job, and I am going to get on my mothers insurance, so it’s not going to be alot. Is this a solid purchase for a first car for an 18 year old?

Ultimate Car Sound System?

So I’ve already made the mistake of putting money into my car & not fully being satisfied. Buying tint that’s legal, but not dark enough. More importantly, buying speakers that I thought would thump, but don’t. I’m probably just going to go to GoHo Audio and have them tell me what Memphis products to buy, make a checklist, and start buying them. (They said Memphis speakers, subs & amps are the best they had.) I’ve seen people who are pro JL, pro Kickers, pro Infinity Kappa speakers & pro Boston Acoustics. So I guess my questions are:

1) Has anyone had Memphis? If so, what model did you get to make them THUMP? I don’t necessarily need hear me on the next block thump. But I definitely want that “where is that car @ the red light shaking all of our cars” effect. (I’m talking Memphis speakers, subs & amps.)

2) In which order should I re-do the system? Rear speakers, then fronts, then speaker amp, then sub & amp? Does it matter?

3) To those with in dash DVD players, how is it? Does your player double as navigation? Was it super expensive? Can you watch it while driving?

4) For a hard hitting system, will I need capacitors or and extra car battery? How much does that stuff start costing?

5) Last question, kinda unrelated. Has anyone in here mounted our used a tablet as navigation/movie player? Which one do you have and how much space did it take up in your 4 door car?

*I don’t have a Benz or a BMW, but I don’t have the common Chargers, 300’s or Magnums either. I have an 07 Galant that I want to become a nice head turner. Re tinting the windows to 20%, throwing 18 chrome/black rims on it, maybe some diamond white HID lights, possibly a tablet in the ride, and finally subs/speakers that turn heads. HELP ME OUT FOLKS!*
