okay i own a Sony Vaio VPCCW21FX Laptop and the it wont read any of my memory sticks.?

okay i own a Sony Vaio VPCCW21FX Laptop and the it wont read any of my memory sticks.? I just used the them in or cameras over the weekend, plus i used the memory sticks in the laptop last week. it wont read the SD nor the magic gate cards.
