Why does it says psp is already version x.xx? when i try to uggrade psp firmware it says that cannot upgrade because the firmware already upgraded… but at System software says is still 5.5 prome 4, do i nid to use a pandora battery, help me im a noob

updating psp 3.80 m33-5 (CFW)? can anybody tell me whats better about newer cfws than the one i have(3.80). also, how can i do the upgrade, i dont have a pandora battery. does the network update work? (m33 is enabled in the recovery menu settings)
